Alarm systems have changed a lot since we started installing them back in 1969. Have you seen all the commercials on TV from the big nationwide alarm, cable and cell phone companies showing people checking in on their homes with their Smartphones? Home Security Service can offer you the same thing! The newest systems we're installing today can give you the ability to control your security, lights, locks, heat, cameras and more from just about anywhere on your Smartphone or computer! Becoming Authorized Dealers with Alarm.com and NAPCO's iBridge Connected Home, we can turn any of our systems into a Smart Home controller. See the “Smart Home” page on our site for more information!

Now-a-days there's dozens of manufactures of alarm systems. We at HSS have seen and heard about most of them but only install a few of the brands. This is because we spend time getting to know everything about the systems we offer. They're a lot more than a pretty keypad on a wall - the operation, ease of use, reliability, flexibility and longevity are all important to us. As well as the variety of compatible alarm sensors. The systems we install, in our opinion, are the best out there. Our top choices in panel brands are Qolsys, DSC Neo, Interlogix, 2GIG & NAPCO.

Wireless Alarm Systems

Todays wireless systems that we offer are jammed packed with technology and features that fit just about anybodies lifestyle. The systems and sensors we use are some the most advanced, secure and reliable available. These systems are flexible enough to secure anything from a mobile home to a warehouse!

Our wireless alarms can protect your property against several threats including intrusion, low temperature, smoke, CO, water and more. They can also control and/or integrate with popular smart home devices. Remotely lock/unlock your door (deadbolt or lever), adjust the thermostat, turn on/off lights, open/close the garage door and even turn on/off your main water valve! The options are just about endless!

Hardwired Systems

Back in 1969 when HSS was started, wireless alarm systems didn’t exist! We have several hundred systems out there that are fully hardwired and still install them today. Either as an option for new construction, upgrading some of our older systems or taking over another companies system, hardwired alarm panels can offer a lot of the same functionality of the newer wireless types. These panels can also except wireless sensors if they needed to be expanded and additional wiring wasn’t an option.
